We desperately need to ban all forms of real money gambling in games, or at least prevent kids from accessing it.

I’ve been playing X-Wing. The mad lads who built XWVM have essentially modernized the game and got it working on and with modern hardware, while strictly preserving its feel. It’s amazing.

It’s about the same as incel shit really. You’d think it would get banned like incel stuff is, but it’s tolerated because men are not a protected class.

I did not understand the hype for this game at all. I liked the first one better to be honest.

I mean perhaps the biggest thing going for ED is that it actually works. I’ve got a pile of complaints about the game but Star Citizen is hopelessly busted while ED generally works quite well.

Last time someone told me a game wasn’t for me I never bought any of their titles again. It has been years since that happened. I’m in it to win it on this one too. Eat shit Nintendo.

Between my wife and I we own damn near every Nintendo console, including every game boy, most of the DS/3DS versions, and even the Wii U. We bought two Switches because we both wanted to play BotW so badly at the same time lol.

This is where I draw the line. Palworld is an imperfect but fun game that I really enjoyed, and PocketPair deserves their success. It’s entirely on Nintendo/Game Freak for utterly failing to innovate that they now have such strong competition. They had more than enough money to try something new, get fucked.

Do you have children and have you had to use parental controls for some games? The controls largely suck so much and just end up being a source of endless frustration. They are not what I would call effective.

GOG and Itch are both great services. Epic is run by a psychopath and working hard to create the walled garden they themselves have been railing against. That’s why EGS can go to hell but I’ll gladly buy from the others.

The simple answer: nobody is actually reading any of these licenses. I run into the problem constantly and even people who should know better do not (most of our IT staff for example…)

Using the find function on my phone browser doesn’t find it but it does come up when manually scrolling and as long as you don’t move too far the find works. I’m thinking there is some sort of rendering magic going on, would explain why scrolling is so fast.

Windows documentation is an absolute mess. The only reason you can claim it is “documented” is the sheer volume of users, but that’s not necessarily a good thing when suggested fixes include registry edits, disabling security features, and running everything as an admin.
