If you can get it on Gamepass or PS+ (or something else) i’d advice getting it that way. The game has a 40$ price tag, and while i’m enjoying it, some other people are not due to a lack of content (the game has about 5 game modes and has two more on the way this year). I’d say whether it’s worth the price is entirely dependent on how much fun you get out of the main gameplay cycle (though i guess that can be said for most games lol). Me and the two others i play with are hooked on the general gameplay cycle (the escape at the end is one of our favorite parts) but some other people not so much.
The lack of text or voice chat seems like an odd choice. I kind of get the feeling that they meant for this to be played more with friends over random people, and they only added matchmaking because it’s standard, i’m not sure about that though
How’s the Random matchmaking? I haven’t touched it myself but I am curious how it is
Not really. It’s something I meant to touch on yesterday (and knowing me I probably forgot to bring up) but there’s very little story outside of the basics.
Generally you’re just told what’s wrong and how to fix it. I’ve been hearing Sam Lake had not much to do with it and it was a way smaller team than usual, which yeah. I can see that for sure.
I generally avoid reviews until I have played something but I did see the reviews were mixed on Steam also, big fan of remedy too. Though maybe that’s skewing my perspective
Did they cancel it? I was thinking a few months ago about how I swore I could have remembered someone making a Fallout 4 mod that adds Appalachia but I couldn’t remember for sure
It’s definitely gotten better lol. Still got some issues though. I think part of it is just It’s very hard for me to be picky though
A best of is something I’ve thought about for one year. Either that or I’d show off some of the rejects bin of screenshots (I always end up taking a lot of photos most of which don’t make it). Both would take a lot of time though so I’m still debating. I should probably decide soon though because I’m reaching a month and don’t want to run out of time
Sackboy a Big Adventure. Absolutely no ill will towards it, and the issue may lie more with me than the game, but it just felt very “okay” for me.
You’re all good! I’ve been thinking about reaching out to the mods myself, but i’ve been a bit of a fence sitter myself on the matter.
I was going too, someone suggested the same thing before (in fact, it may have been you because your username is familiar).
But I found out literally the day that i was going to change it that I was put on the sidebar of the community and it uses the posts’s title to search for it. I’m not sure how many people use that as opposed to just letting me naturally show up in their feed so I’m hesitant to mess with it
I think borderlands 3 is the only one borderlands I haven’t played at some point lol. I’ll have to pick it up at some point
I briefly looked at it and the coverage of games is crazy. I think I even saw the Skyrim multiplayer mod
I don’t have many on PC, but basically any TT Lego Game comes to mind, along with Sackboy a Big Adventure and The Escapist 2. That’s like a decent 75% of my splitscreen PC library though lol
I’d kill for more modern splitscreen games, especially on PC
The legacy console editions of Minecraft have always done a good job in my opinion as a tutorial. It’s hard to skip it (or at least was for me) and it really walks you through the basics. Then you have the choice of learning more or just… going out and playing minecraft
The post launch QOL updates are giving me major No Man’s Sky vibes. Maybe it’s just because they’re both Sci-Fi though
Someone else had mentioned it was hidden by default, but also gave instructions on how to turn it back off. I must have turned it on at one point when messing around with settings and just forgotten, either that or one of the few times i’ve loaned the profile to close friends they turned it on
If there’s a demo i might give it a try. Usually the issue for me with Souls games is less the difficulty and more so just it’s rare for me to get used to the control scheme. There have been some exceptions though and i’m always down to give a new thing a try. So the demo probably won’t hurt me
If you’ve got the PC Specs for it I’d say go for it. It’s surprisingly stable on Xenia (which is how I’ve been playing it)
