I basically do exactly this, but I am running the reverse proxy on my home computer: the VPS is literally just acting as a proxy, for which I use wireguard to tunnel the connection. So far it’s worked great, though initial setup was a pain.

In 2006 they bundled Wii Sports with the Wii, which seemed to benefit them considering the Wii’s success. Though, the Switch 1 had a the demo “1, 2, Switch” for 60 USD and sold better than the Wii, though culturally, more people probably know about Wii Sports compared to 1, 2, Switch.
IIRC robot vacuums usually use a single Time of Flight (ToF) sensor that rotates, giving the robot a 2d scan of it’s surroundings. This is sufficient for a vacuum which only needs to operate on a flat surface, but self driving vehicles need a better understanding of their surroundings than just a thin slice.
That’s why cars might use over 30 distinct ToF sensors, each at a different vertical angle, that are then all placed in the rotating module, giving the system a full 3d scan of it’s surroundings. I would assume those modules are much more expensive, though still insignificant compared to the cost of a car sold on the idea of self driving.

Out of all of these, motion blur is the worst, but second to that is Temporal Anti Aliasing. No, I don’t need my game to look blurry with every trailing edge leaving a smear.
I had My minecraft server scanned by at least 3 different bots, and I even had some friendly guy join my server that apparently found it using a bot he wrote. I’m now using a whitelist lol. One of the account names that scanned my server was "Fifth Column, which is a griefing group.
There’s plenty of good, open source UX in FOSS. Have you seen the Gnome family of apps? They look great and are easy to understand.

In Canada, we have Via rail. They line you up like you’re at an airport and check your ticket before you board the train, and also check your ticket once you’re on the train. They also have enforced weight restrictions on baggage. The trains share tracks with freight, meaning that the train has to stop every once in a while to let a freight train pass. All this to take longer than driving and cost alot as well.
Still better than Canadian rail. That shit is regularly late. Significantly late.
I switched my server from Ubuntu to Fedora, partly so I don’t get sold Ubuntu pro on every login lol.
